Most of us are stuck at home now.. Not everyone has cooking skills ... Probably a difficult transition for some.

Anyone here just eating top ramen or frozen pizzas ?

Personally I'm pretty good in the kitchen , so not an issue

Dinner tonight was a pound of XL shrimp tonight. Jumbo scallops with rice and asparagus tomorrow.

My ramen stash is only for weather emergencies.

Maybe the only positive of this whole lock down. Smoked a butt on Saturday. Sammies the first night. Carnitas with kimchi the next. Making chicken skewers tomorrow with schug.

I love to eat, but I can't cook. I'm a takeout guy, and I'm doing that now several times a week if only to help my local restaurants.

My wife does all the cooking. I tell everyone we're a 50' s family. Dad went to work, mom stayed home.

My son amazes me in some ways. He's a gourmet chef, makes craft cocktails and can build fine furniture. I'm like WTF, where did he get those skill sets? I'm a rocks or straight up guy, and the only thing I use a hammer for is to fix my computer.

I know he's my son because of his personality, sense of humor, loyal to a fault and he works for the largest privately owned hedge fund company in the world. He's also a wine snob

Anyhow, I stay out of the kitchen

Coffee, sugar free rockstar, diet mtn dew, corn nuts, and protein bars. An occasional gummy bear with 10mg thc, in which case I'll also have hot pockets and chicken nuggets. Almost the exact same diet as before the shutdown, but now with more time inside the house I can also sit down for a bowl of cereal.

I'd never had a chick fil a chicken sandwich until the other day. Holy smokes! Great sandwich.

It's great. The differentiator for Chick Fil A is that the service is always fantastic. Every Chick Fil A - they say my pleasure, they are quick in moving lines, if you eat in store - they come around asking if you want refills.

Only downside is on Sunday when you get a craving and then realize its closed

Love to cook. Love to eat. Love to grill.

Heck, I grow my own fruits and veggies. Garlic I planted in October is coming up right now. So is the rhubarb and all the herbs. The fig trees and grape vines are coming out of dormancy. Can't wait for mid August when lots of stuff is ripening.

Life at the table is exactly the same for me now as it was three weeks ago.

Best was back in 2014, 33 in 10 minutes, the show it was for was even on Netflix for a while. Earnings were only $2000 last year, so not bothering to practice much anymore. And now with all the shutdowns and public health crisis no idea when I'll have any opportunities again.

Your Boy sounds like a winner now tell me he throws down on the odd Patriot game and he'd be perfect
